Every dog has its day, and Tuesday, Feb. 17, belonged to one very special beagle. A prime specimen of the breed named Miss P won big at the 139th Annual Westminster Dog Show.
The 4-year-old Miss P, whose full name is Ch Tashtins Lookin For Trouble, took home the title of Best in Show at the long-running event in New York City. The Canada-based Miss P is only the second beagle to ever win the contest, and she is the grandniece of the previous winner, 2008’s champion Ch.
